Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is Hyaluronic Acid Filler?

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring sugar in the body that helps skin hydration. Revanesse versa hyaluronic acid is safe, clear gel that is cutting edge and rigorously tested to provide remarkable results.

Unique Formulation, designed for safety and longevity.

  • Proprietary sieving technology produces round, smooth and spherical HA particles. Optimally crosslinked, long chain, high molecular weight, HA using less BDDE.
  • High levels of BDDE produce an inflammatory response and the excess BDDE can produce a long term inflammatory response, which can be responsible for a pillow face appearance, a more swollen appearance, or is also seen as filler migration.
  • There is a 7 day Dialysis to neutralize ph and remove excess BDDE with Revanesse Versa.
  • Less BDDE is required to link higher molecular weight HA, which reduces inflammatory response. Using more BDDE also makes a modified HA less natural, and more likely to produce adverse reactions.
  • Versa uses 6.9% BDDE.

Reduced Inflammatory reaction.

  • Inflammatory reactions are more pronounced from particles of irregular shape. Revanesse uses only high molecular weight HA to minimize the inflammatory response to tissue integration, in addition smooth, and round HA particles that are less likely to be recognized as a foreign body.

Durability and long lasting.

  • Thixofix technology is used to optimize cross-linking, a unique sieving process to produce uniform and spherical particles.

Versa is optimized for:

  • Elasticity for lift capacity
  • Cohesivity for tissue integration
  • Yield stress for shape retention
