What is Bellafill®?

Bellafill® uses a blend of two components to create results that are immediate and long lasting. Suspended within a smooth collagen gel base are tiny polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres. Once it is injected, the collagen starts to work immediately, adding natural looking volume and softening wrinkles and acne scars. Over time, your body naturally metabolizes the collagen, but the PMMA microspheres work as a scaffolding system, supporting the development of your own collagen and laying the foundation for long-term results.

What to expect from your Bellafill® procedure

Bellafill® is a safe in-office procedure that takes a few minutes to administer. Bellafill® also contains an anesthetic to lessen discomfort from the procedure. You will see immediate results and will be able to return to your normal daily activities after the procedure. To ensure you are not allergic to the collagen or anesthetic in Bellafill®, a skin test will be administered prior to the initial treatment approximately four (4) weeks ahead of time.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS TO BELLAFILL®?

Potential side effects may include swelling, redness, pain, bruising, lumps/bumps, itching and discoloration for the first few days to a week.
